Hi to all, I've been a lurker for a while,  I'm on the lookout for a new project, and am thinking a cb may be the way to go. 
a couple of questions
1. can you fit a 750 SOHC head to a DOHC, or is it possible to fit both the cylinder and the head to the DOHC bottom end, Happen to know where there is a 750 DOHC engine in pieces for the right price.
2. does the 650 SOHC head fit on the 750 SOHC,

Didn't think it would work but figured it would be worth an ask
Am I right in assuming the stud spacing on the 750 shock block is wider than that on the 650 so that they won't lignin up or is it the shame of the cam chain housing

Seriously though, Andy, Retro's 100% correct as he usually is. Perhaps another Aussie will have a decently priced motor available that can be sent or shipped to you. Terry? A long as Andy doesn't purse SP with it  ;D

No such thing as Santa, the Easter bunny told me... ;D :o

650 shares a bit  with the 500-550, and virtually nothing with the 750, I'm a 750 guy so i'm sure one of the 550-650 guys will chime in with the rest... ;), I don't have a spare 750 engine at the moment either.... ;)

I did wonder that myself, can't remember whether it's Brisbane or London that is our third largest city population wise
From experience it's always been more expensive to get stuff from oz than from the US
