How about expanding foam inside the bar? would that take the vibration out?

thing is, when folks go putting stuff like that (and the silly-cone) into their bars, it is there for good... if (somehow) one side ends up heavier than the other---- well, you may or may not notice it, but you *aint* gettin' it out... try the BB's... you will be impressed with the results...

I agree. And if they don't work you can just take them off again.  Also with clubman bars there isn't room for much inside the bars anyways.

I'm thinking of trying to slide my old weight bars in with a larger rubber grommet on them to hold them and then putting these bar ends on to make sure they dont come flying out.

is too much wieght a bad thing?

When I had a Yamaha FZ1, and read the FZ1 forum regularly, a lot of guys over there were pouring BBs of some kind (shotgun, I suppose) into their bars to dampen the vibes.
