Anyone in the San Diego area?
« on: October 11, 2008, 08:01:39 PM »
I'm new in town and don't have much of a clue where to go ride as of now. I've slowly been exploring around, but it would be nice to have someone who knows where they are going.

Any SOHCers around these parts? I've seen TONS of sportbikes and dual sports, a few Harleys but no SOHCs yet.

I'm too dumb to figure out how to use that map.
I'm over in East San Diego. We should go ride around!

New to San Diego as well.   Just found this thread, good to see some others in this area.   I'm in Pacific Beach and currently unemployed*, A.K.A. plenty-o-time to ride ;D

I'm in Nort county SD with a 73 500 four. The best ride I've been on is the Ortega hwy 74 from Lake Elsinore to San Juan Capistrano. I'ts a bit further north, but you can make a day of it. There are also a ton of twisties up Palomar Mountain.

Another San Diegan here, Chula Vista.

The bike is still in restoration but have plenty others to ride in the meantime!
