1975 cb750f exhaust baffle
« on: June 12, 2014, 09:04:56 AM »
My 1975 cb750f supersport doesn't have a stock megaphone. I could see the previous owner welded this megaphone with no baffle. It used to be so loud till I made baffle which is a straight pine with holes.

I was wondering if someone has a picture of the original baffle? I attempting to make it as close as the stock one, maybe it will sound better.

How to I check if I gaining or loosing a back pressure?

I tried lollipop which was a washer on a bolt, but the sound stayed the same. I like to hear some of that pop pop thing like those new bike out there.

the original was a 1 piece muffler and the baffle was not removable.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)
