CB500 clutch cable clevis fix
« on: May 26, 2014, 06:33:01 PM »
It seems like a lot of 500 owners have broken the cage/clevis that the clutch cables goes into. You know that one under the left side case cover. This can be because of maladjusted clutch, broken lifter rod or in my case hamfistedness. Well I've broken two of these now and of course I can't find a Honda replacement. However in my search through the forums I found that someone else had this issue and drilled his out and used an XS 650 clevis.
Yamaha still makes these and they are cheap.

Thought I should actually update this with a pic of what the fix looked like.

Sorry for the over exposure in the pic. My camera sucks.
