It looks like a BCR seat, but there are dozens of seat makers.  Just google fiberglass cafe seat and see....

It looks like the retained the stock cross over and it it also looks like the area is all cushion. Maybe someone on here know someone who can make this.

Yo, if you're looking to get rid of your stock seat I'd be happy to contribute some $$ to your cafe seat fund.

I think that is something we could work out. The seat is actually in awesome condition. No tears and the seat pan looks brand new. It has a little white paint on it. It prob will come out with a good cleaner. I haven't tried. I'll take some pictures tomorrow. I also have another seat but it's a aftermarket saddle seat.

Maybe I'm getting old but most of the "cafe" seats out there look like they'd give you nothing but a good case of hemroids...

I built a lower profile seat on a spare stock pan for my 77 750k, got about two years before it packed out. Put the stock seat back on, I forgot how comfortable it really was. Still haven't rebuilt my packed out one with new foam lol, may not now that I think of it.

I have found that making sure the  seat is level when riding is important.  I had a HawkGT with an aftermarket tail section.  The foam I sat on was only 3/4 of an inch thick.  I did several 300 mile days riding on it.   I have also sat at picnic table for hours without discomfort.(there was beer, tho).  No cushion!

IMO, sitting position, peg location and location of handle bars are all important.
One note, a friend of mine who is an Iron Butt member thought the HawkGT that I had sucked!

It just means, make it fit you.

Do you have a picture of the bike you bought?  Just want to make sure you are not getting ahead of yourself with thinking about the seat first...

That is a Benjie's seat. The one in the picture just has vinyl pulled over the fiberglass tail instead of a painted finish. Mine was expensive, and quite heavy. Nice looking though.

Eric: Thanks. That is what I thought it was. I might try to make one my self.

James: the bike is in pieces. But it's all in real good condition. I'm not looking to get a seat right now. Just trying to nail one down so I can stop wasting my whole day looking at them.

I think I will probably run the stock seat for a while. I cleaned it up today and it is in really good condition
