In the process of rebuilding the top end (deglazing, rings, gaskets, lash, etc) I've come to an impasse. Head it's straight, surface is clean, but my head gasket won't seal. I am chalking it up to reuse of the TTY head bolts. Attempted to order a new set from Honda, however the order was returned because they don't have stock nor produce more.
I was looking around and it seems as though grade 8 bolts are about the same PSI as ARPs and I was curious as to if anyone has had any success in using them in lieu of factory head bolts.
