Don't see many of these out and about.

 Never know what you might see in the Wally World parking lot. My sons know how I am with the old Honda's and when they see or here about one they let me know and try to send me pics. My oldest son saw this CB500 in Holly Ridge, NC down near the North Carolina coast. Definitely not one of my favorite bikes, but still a old Honda from the 70's. Honda's redesign of the popular CB450 dohc didn't make a very big splash and think they made the CB500 only for 2 years 75-76. Here is a write up about the bike from 1975 and a pic my son took of a surviving bike almost 40 years later.

That was Hondas attempt to keep the 450 dohc alive but wound up being the end of the production line, after all the 500/550 four wasn't much more than the 500T at the time.  I resurrecting a 500T several years back, enjoyed my brief time with it...Larry
