Looking for: 1979CB650 choke linkage spring
« on: June 25, 2014, 02:58:49 AM »
Short and sweet as I am new (intro posted on new members intro thread) and will be making a thread soon to detail my build etc…..
But for now, I have taken apart my carbs (keihin PD50a style) to clean and rebuild etc….when doing so discovered the previous owner had zip ties holding the choke linkage together tsk tsp…. so now I am looking for a replacement spring as my makeshift one I tried to make out of another random spring only works sort of lol…  The one I am missing is the small of the 2 springs that actually links the 2 choke arms together. sits closer to the #3 side of the carbs if that helps. I have the large spring the links the carb body to the black plastic choke lever…. Any suggestions?? Or really nice forum members who have an extra one laying around lol
Thanks in advance!!!
I bought a bike that didn't run to force myself to learn the ropes! She runs now ;)
Join me as I take my first ever bike and turn her into what I picture in my head!
