Sorry to piggyback the post, but for efficiency...........
I'd like a fork brace for my 75 750F.  What's worked for you guys?

MRieck - not a photo of it installed on a F2, but a photo of the brace itself:

But you probably already know what it looks like...

Mike, are you wondering if it would fit? If so, would measurements of mounteds F2 forks help?

Does the telefix attach to the top of the legs?

In case anyway cares I'll show you what I've done. Although it will not support as solidly as a purpose built brace, it is at least better than the stock fender brace. No pics of post polishing!

i'm wondering how high above the fender it sits. I have that custom fender that sits low....I wouldn't want it to look goofy.

Not even sure it would fit F2 lowers with stock fender. Stock fender mounts at least a 1/4" higher than the top of the lowers. I haven't seen a Telefix in person but imagine that the bridge would need to be at least 1/2" higher than the clamps. The lower the fender the better, I would think.

Reason I'm jumpin' in here is I'd love to have a fork brace but want to keep the fender. Haven't seen one yet that looks like it would clear.

Aren't those F1 forks on your scoot? Or did ya find a way to rub the black off :)

That's an F2 front on my bike. The Telefix clears stock fenders. Thing is the stock F2 fender sits higher than mine which might make the brace look kinda stupid sitting there with 2" of clearance beneath it. That's why I want to see the brace with the stock fender....I can gauge the clearance with a pic.

Sorry, I hate these GD things sometimes, I can't seem to post a picture. What I used is is a 500 Interceptor fender, hugs tight to the 18" wheel I laced up. The fork leg uppers were machined round and I made two separate clamps for each leg that the fender brace bolts to. I'll send a picture to you if you care to see the setup.

If you know where to get one cheaper than $130 I'll send ya a pic in a week and a half ;)

May not help as my bikes a 1976 F1, but may give a general idea, the pics were taken on stripdown to help me put the bike back together so they do not focus on the brace.

Cheers
