I need a new exhaust that has good flow for a tuned engine, but not too loud. My 4-1 is too loud when it works as it should. Using the smaller baffle delivered with the Alpha 4-1 choke the engine.

An alternative with bigger silencers but still matching a CB750, almost OEM look?
4-1
4-2
2x 2-1
4-4

Are the Cycle X exhaust systems good but still not too loud?  Their 4-1 as well as their 2x2-1 Dunstall look.
It must be possible with OEM passengers footpegs.

Depends on your tastes, but for OEM feel, 4-2 (2-1 x 2) or 4-4.  The 4-4 is more throaty and gurgly.  A proper tuned 4-2 with proper volume should be much more subdued.  For stock looking, I personally havent seen a 4-1 that looks correct.

Personally, On my one piece muffler/header, I carefully removed the OEM weld and put on aftermarket slip-on
