know what? i actually know i dont want  to...

what do you do with it? parade it like an old lady so the flies dont scratch the paint?

with a 100K$ 0 miles supermono, for every lap on track you'd be losing about 1K in value. kinda expensive track day :)

second option is to put in your bedroom and XXXX yourself silly.

Holy crap, it's actually been bid to that price. I breezed through the first time & thought that was the asking price. Some people have more money than brains.  ;D

that depends brent , people dont trust the banks with there money at the moment and if they do the interest rate is crap
people are putting there money into bikes , cars , antiques etc as an alternative . time will tell if the buyer has more money than sense ,
if it sells for more next year i guess he isn't to stupid

yossef , i agree you cant actually use it and i wouldn't want it in the bedroom , it would spoil the view of my aprilia .

No doubt.  I could build and buy quite a few CB's for that price...
74 CB450 K7 Supersport, 82 CB650sc Nighthawk, 1982 CBX 1000, 2015 Tiger XCx.... And some ol minibike with a 5hp Briggs.

Hate to disagree with you Yossef but Supermonos have been climbing steadily in price for the last five years. $122k usd is less than £75k gbp and I know of two sold for more than that in the last two years. Last US one I saw come up for sale was used and didn't sell at $101k usd - reserve not met but someone bid 101k. Tga.co.uk have Alan Cathcart's supermono for sale now at  a cool £100k gbp and it isn't even in standard trim. Ok it's arguably the second most famous of three championship winning supermonos, the first being Robert holden's tt winner, second Cathcart's and third Ian Cobby's British championship winning bike, the first championship won by a supermono as far as I'm aware.

As Simon said, with the prices still climbing and less than 67 complete bikes left in the world, this is not a silly investment for someone with very deep pockets! That's all from me, I'm off to see what loose change is down the back of the sofa :-)
