Vacuum/pulse fuel pump with Keihin carburetor?
« on: June 24, 2014, 08:43:24 PM »
Hi all,
First of all, I have a 1975 CB750 with stock Keihin carburetors.

Some of you already know my plight: I want a vacuum petcock as a back up to keep gas out of my crankcase. RJ450 had the excellent idea of using a vacuum/pulse fuel pump like the one on his 650 Nighthawk, along with the stock petcock. All I've seen so far are vacuum/pulse fuel pumps for the Honda Odyssy (4 wheeler), Honda Elite, Ruckus, and Helix scooters, and one for a Briggs and Stratton lawnmower engine.

I plan on mounting it in-line between the petcock and carburetors and running a hose to a sync port on one of the carbs and probably anchoring it to the carburetors somehow.

Will any of these work?

Thanks!
