It's a 75 F'er.  What were you thinking, if course price is going through the roof.  Much more fun to ride than the K'ers

Here's one for a grand

http://lansing.craigslist.org/mcy/4539089473.html

That one is worth snapping up.

There was a 78 F that was one owner not a ton of miles, super clean I tried to talk Flybox into for $2100 I think? Anyway it sold the same day. Then there is this one http://spokane.craigslist.org/mcy/4510901310.html this guy has been trying to sell for a while now with no luck. There was a 1976 in blue for $1600 that looked pretty nice, it took a bit to sell but it finally did. Hard to tell what people want sometimes.

For a grand that's a deal, I'm tempted to buy it just to swap the yellow parts to mine, finish it and resell.

My guess is it will go to an overseas buyer.  That price is not out of line in Australia for example.  IMO it's way over what the U.S. market would bear.  Even so it makes me chuckle when I think of the $500 I payed for my 76F in identical condition 4.5 years ago.  ;D
