Same deserves all the credit for putting up with me. I didn't do much of anything. Just a bit of hospitality and compassion for a very unique gentleman. I count myself very lucky to know him, and to have met Bill in person.

At least now, I'll know where I'll be next June  8)

He's been up, really is very weak, can only walk baby steps etc. Man suffered a traumatic injury, amazing he's doing as well as he is. We've talked at length, some coming back, we watched the video on my iPad. He has no explanation....  Doesn't matter, him being fully recovered does. He was thinking foot peg went thru helmet and caused front head wound...see, he's still putting pieces of the puzzle together. One day at a time right now, but he's very grateful to all who've helped! Thanks, Bill

Yes Jerry, Bill did Kidnap me and I'm now in Alpharetta on his computer.
It's been a long hard few weeks and there are still a lot of blank spaces in my memory but there's not a lot I can do about that part of it.
First and foremost, I need to thank you all for your concern about my wellbeing and for all the help you have sent my way one way or another.
Trying to catch up with all the posts on here is hard enough by it's self and I still have a million posts to read through on Facebook, so please bare with me, I know I will probably miss someone or something out so hang in there guys.
I'll shut up for now and try to answer a few of your questions but please don't ask me what went wrong, that's one of the things that is still missing from my memory along with a lot of other things that I doubt I will ever be able to answer, the main thing is I'm still alive and you'll just have to put up with me for a bit longer. ;D ;D ;D ;D
Let me just add, thank you for being you, my old mates and quite a few new ones that stepped up to the mark when I needed you the most, you are all just AWESOME. 8) 8) 8)

Sam - I did the same as you back in 1986, cushioning the fall of a motorcycle, in that case an '82 900F.  The bike came out the better for it, but I was 5 days in the hospital, and pretty bunged up for the next 6 months, so next time I'll let the bike take its own knocks.  It is good to see you back on here, amigo.

Thanks guys, it really is good to be back in the land of the living and I hope none of you ever have to go through it like I did, hospitals are great places but not the place to take what you might call in my case a vacation. ;)

Way beyond, to a degree that is exceptional. It is heartening to realise that in this world there are people such as he. Thankfully, forums such as this one brings good people together.
