Good to hear/see you are out of the hospital Sam and on the mend. Keep it up and enjoy the Hot'Lanta weather. Hopefully it won't be too nasty in the coming weeks.

Edward, all about as good as it could be for what's been happening. I'm dropping Sam, Jonathan and Graham at airport @ 12. We've had a good visit. Speaking of, Jim F came yesterday and the night before Jimmy and Eeman Heisler came by. We all had fun! Here's a pic of them yesterday afternoon. Wow, pretty emotional time, but it's going be ok. Sam will be back...maybe with Jonathan! K. Chef Tuskey's due in after lunch. Gotta finish his bike today. Thanks to all, Sam will be ok, just going to be a while, still needs y'all's help. Thanks so much, it means a lot, Bill

UPDATING FROM HOME. Please forgive me for not updating, I was reminded two nights ago but forgot.
Most of the bones are healed but it seems the memory is still a little suspect and needs some help.
Although I have posted a few times, it seems I can only react to things in the present and things I posted on a few days ago get forgotten. I might appear to be online quite a lot but I just forget to shut the computer down.
Yesterday, a new member from England posted using his own name, I knew the name well but wondered if I knew him personally so I asked him. This morning he replied and I found he was a guy who I had raced with just a few years ago but couldn't remember.
So lots of work is still needed in the brain department. I start Neurological rehab next Thursday at a local hospital and I hope to find some answers there. How long will I be like this, will I ever get back to being normal ?(was I ever normal)  ;D  I guess only time will tell.
I must have read through all of this thread while I was at Bill's but after reading all the way through it again, I must admit, most of it is new to me and I have to thank all of you for your posts and well wishes, you all are AWESOME people and I'm very glad to be able to call you my friends. 8) 8) 8)

Do I still hate black rims?  ;D ;D ;D

No worries, Eric, sounds like you and I suffer the same plight in life; being somewhat forgettable  :o It's served me well as the coppers have never laid their greasy mitts on me despite decades of justifiable cause  :D

Sam, on the other hand, I found to be quite unforgettable, the lucky bastage!

I wasn't suggesting that, I was more describing my history. Fortunately (?) with respect to Sam's memory, I'm on the "now" side and not the "previous" side.

Sammy - it's great to hear you're up and about and mending. Maybe some of the things you don't remember too well, are best left forgotten anyway. Causes us less guilt-ridden sleepless nights. (Honest, Judge, I don't remember having a pee on the coppers leg). Or something like that-

I was reading back through some old PM's the other day Sam and one of the last ones that you sent, you were calling me love.  ;D

Admittedly, I'd forgotten all about that one until then.
You gave us a good laugh and that's what it's all about.
Take good care mate.  ;D
If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

You will not know what you have forgotten until you remember what you forgot :)
New impressions, new memories for the future.

Reminds me about the days when I visited night clubs. I woke up home one Sunday after a wet evening/night, had no memories of behaving bad so I needed to feel ashame about said and done... until the memories started to hit me a few days later.....
Some memories came back years after.... must have been very wet night....
