Replacement coils for CB750F - what are my options?
« on: June 27, 2014, 10:56:54 AM »
I've done some searching but haven't found what I'm looking for, info-wise...

Looking to replace the stock coils on my '76 CB750F. I want new ones, not used, and I want to keep them @ 5 ohms (stock). I know there are pricey Dyna ones that would work. OEM from Honda are like $190ish. Are there any reliable, reasonably-priced options? Are the "stock type" coils from CB750supply.com any good?

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

The dyna coils are the same price as those, roughly, and the plug socket orientation (slanted) is a bit easier to work with, IMO.  http://4into1.com/dyna-5-ohm-black-coils-dual-output-dc8-1/

I've got about 15k on my Dyna coils, no problems at all.
