Can any of you drag racing blokes help me out with some info on the actuator attached to the clutch?
How does it work?

Yup, it surely looks the biz. I do like the looks of the JMR finned cylinder way better, stroked or not.

Air clutch set up. Odds are he wants to use a button to release the clutch via a delay box or to be sure their hand is on the bars at all times when the clutch release versus throwing it themselves from the two step. Many of us have the air clutch set up on the clutch lever itself. This version works better because its directly attached to the clutch arm and does not use the cable to hold or release the clutch so its more accurate and not subject to cable stretch or looses in reaction due to more moving pieces involved. The main problem i see here is thats a double acting air cylinder and not a single acting. I suppose they intend to plug the exhaust hole or it will only pull once and loose air pressure. Hopefully one of the Cycle EX guys can explain further on their reasoning for use of the doudle acting cylinder. That cylinder will be activated via an electric over air cylinder connected to a button on the bars once the clutch is pulled in.

Manufacturers Cup WORLD FINALS. Bikes from ~ 10 countries. Bikes ONLY. 250mph 6 sec blown nitro bikes to 14 second street bikes with many 200+ mph bikes in between. Larry Spiderman McBride vs. the world. Shake you to your sole. The 8 - 9 second class is very entertaining too. Then again there is OUR team! Bracket racing at it's best. It's a blast. Show up and have fun with us. Ride or not. We have guys coming in from all over. I fly into ATL and hook up with team members there and ride down. See you there??

Crap, just looked at my points standing for this season in the Man Cup series. I suck; #37 in top gas, #53 in Crazy 8's. Oh well, i finished in the top ten in both classes last season and can't even break into the top 20 this year. Lets hope next season is better.

You need to pull your socks up Frank, ;D ;D ;D out of 3 events and 153 riders, I'm still in 47th place in Street ET with 62 points from 1 event.
If I had been awarded my points for Tech at VMP, I'd be joint 37th with Jeremy Teasley on 73 points who has done two events. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.

Thanks. They have had these here at Indy, and it is similar to the NHDRO races we have.

Sam,

I've only made one out of 4  events this season so I suppose I shouldn't be crying. Had a lot going on this year that didn't allow us to travel far from home. If the Cup series is still around, I hope to make them all. Thus far, none of us has placed an SOHC in the top 10. We need to change that statistic.

As usual, being the leader of the group, you've set the example for your team to follow. Unfortunate events derailed your valiant attempt. However, your remaining team members will vow to vindicate your efforts in the racing world- if not this season, we will try for the next one.
