75 CB400F brake upgrade
« on: June 28, 2014, 06:26:55 PM »
I'm looking to improve the brake feel a tiny bit, I have fresh rebuilt master cylinder and caliper now. I want to add a single piece stainless line next. The caliper has the hard pipe in it now, can I convert that to a banjo bolt? If so what is the thread pitch going into the caliper.

That website is down. Just wondering if I can stick a 10mm 90 degree banjo fitting on the caliper. DCC seems to have tons of fittings in stock to put one together.

To use the banjo you gotta get the conical seat out of the caliper. On 750's it should be able to be knocked out, 400f, not so sure.

Either way slingshot is the way to go. If you are willing to sit on it for about another week he will be back from his hiatus. He said he has been burnt out, that's why the site is down. Another advantage is that he has experience with all of the combos, lengths and angles necessary for the bikes and combos.
