New from Californai
« on: June 29, 2014, 09:47:34 PM »
Hi everyone, Just picked up a 75 cb750. I fell in love with the CR750 about three months ago and decided to trade my Ducati 620 Sport for an old Honda with the dream of turning it into a CR look a like. Ive started making parts already but its hard to find accurate info on these bikes in regards to dimensions. I thought joining this forum would be the best source of information and a cool place to meet people who share the same passion.

My first bike was a Honda CB or SL 100 I bought for $20 from a neighbor when I was 12.
2nd 1980 KX250
3rd 1997 KX250
4th 1963 Norton Atlas
5th 1957 Norton Dominator
6th 2003 Ducati 620 Sport
7th 1957 Norton Manx 350
8th 1975 Honda CB750
1957 Manx, 1958 Dominator,1963 Atlas and 1975 CB 750

If the passion is there, the knowledge will fallow.

Thank You!

Anyone know anything about the dimensions of the through hole on the CR750 brake lever mount and the gear shift lever mount? The hole that the levers pivot from? Also, can anyone suggest a thread I should post this question on? I'm going to machine one set of these as is this week but I'd like to make some for other people as well, so if anyone has any info on these like dimensions, that would be very helpful.
I made this model referencing some drawings from this forum. I think its pretty true the real thing but not exact.

Thanks guys
