Fiddleback country

Okay I've now had two bad ones. This one is a real  pain just above the ass.  It will look more gruesome in a couple days.

Fark! Best of luck with that Fiddy, and as much as Jesus saves, you might wanna see a doc just in case you've pissed him off........... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Bloody hell, is that a boil or did you get shot?  If it's a boil, try getting a big beer bottle of something like that, pour boiling water into it, slosh it around and get the bottle really hot, then tip out the water and get some one to hold the opening tight against that thing, as it cools the suction might suck the #$%* out of it.

Ooher, I don't have a boil, but I've just thought of another use for that beer bottle.......... ;D

Jesus is going to heal it.
I have a different view - Jesus gave it to you just the same way he could cure cancer because he's all powerful, but he doesn't because he's a prick.

Due to my vast experience and research over many years regarding the Fiddleback, I'd say that it was definately a fcuken Fiddleback that did that.  ;D

You can eat the fcukers but make sure that you spit the legs out because they get caught in ya teeth which is a piss off.  ;D
If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

Be careful mate, Jesus doesn't take any sh1t either, and the last thing you want is to be sucked into a hot beer bottle for eternity............ ;D

Ugh, my son managed to get himself out of Haiti, and into NY Presbyterian a few years back with a similar bite on his foot, which was starting to become gangrenous. Almost lost part of his leg, a week in the ICU. Effin spiders and no insurance suck!

Yeah, I had a pretty good brown recluse infestation at my last house in Doodah Land.
They woke my up a few times crawling on my chest and arm as I slept.
Looks like you got bit in bed rolling over on one or it was in your clothes pile.
Damn things are HARD to get rid of once they get a foothold, poison is like farkin fertilizer to them.

I think the "Fiddle Back" spider is the American version of our White Tail spider Dave, I hope Fiddy doesn't have a whole family of them growing in his back! ;D

Yikes!  That looks bad.  If Jesus doesn't come through try another, Vishnu, Allah, Buddha, FSM,  Zeus, Quetzalcoatl, Ra, Odin, no shortage of choices.....one just as valid as the other.

You haven't been around for a few days...hope you are okay and got to a doctor.

Yeah, loxoscales reclusa - recluse spider or 'fiddleback.'    I've had a bad one before and they  are no fun.  Pretty much you wait to see how big a hole rots into you and pray to jesus the staff infection doesn't kill you.  I think it has run it's course as far as the flesh rotting venom and looks much worse than the above pic.

I heard of burn therapy where they use sterilized maggots to get rid of the dead #$%*. Maybe an application for it.

I actually sat and gave this a thought, thanks. Like a beautiful glass of beer being poured in extreme three day slow motion, it's getting a pretty damn good head on it by now.

Yep, before they invented antibiotics and penicillin soldiers carried maggots in little tins to treat their own wounds. The maggots will only eat the dead flesh, so if you're hell bent on not going to the doc, and Jesus is too busy brewing Aussie beer and test riding new Ducati's, best you get yourself some maggots and get to it! ;D

These little blood-suckers aren't near as bad as a recluse, but they are all over this time of year, and you don't even know you were bitten until hours later. The bites itch for days, and there is some slight necrosis.
