Hello everyone I have bought a 1974 CB350F just forced open the Atomic deadlock on my wallet and financed (via selling a kidney) a new set of silencers..It is very original a little tatty but considering its ago not bad at all. Recently bought a new battery fitted same and although my horn seems incapable of sound I have a minor glitch with the indicators that I'm hoping is a simple schoolboy error...ahem..fat chance...Indicators work on the nearside, indicators illuminate on the far side but dont flash, possibly due to this....The off side front illuminates...but doesn't flash when the nearside is selected and this one front and back flashes like a good un.
Pretty certain that the wiring is correct.
My feeling is that it must be connected to the nearside in someway as it still comes on even if its earth isn't connected.
Anything obvious that I'm missing?
All help much appreciated

That wiring diagram is a life saver on these bikes. I just recently replaced all my signals on my 350F. Make sure you've got the right colors connected front and back. It's possible you've got a crossed wire in there somewhere. First thing I'd check is under the seat and inside the headlight bucket to make sure all your colors match up.

Does your turn indicator light up when selecting both sides (on the pilot lights)?

Turn indicator light on the instruments, or the actual turn indicator?

Like the other said, most likely a poor ground(earth) connection. Unplug the bullet connectors, clean them up, and make sure they "click" on reassembly.

Also the turn signal/flasher relay is probably original and fossilized.

how much can you get for a kidney? I have a good that's rinsed with beer everyday.

The charging system on the 350F's sucks. Especially with a 40 year old harness.  with or without corrosion on the connectors...
Winkers work poorly when connected to a bad battery and/or the bike is running at or below 2500rpm where the charging system is not stimulated.
Get a GOOD battery(12.4v with the bike off), and an electronic flasher relay.  Better yet, test the winkers at or above 2500rpm.
If they dont work with these changes, then you can start troubleshooting wiring issues.
