Chain help!! Among other things...
« on: July 02, 2014, 09:54:03 AM »
I have a 76 cb750f. I removed the wheels to put on new tires and after installing the rear wheel the chain dosnt seem to fit the rear sprocket?? If I spin the wheel it goes fine then tightens and seems to want to jump off then repeat...not sure what could be causing this. I don't believe it did it before? Seems to me like its the wrong sprocket right?

Also, how do I know what chain to buy and what size sprockets if I need to replace them? The chain says ek-50 but there is nothing on the sprockets...

One last thing, I tookthe GIANT stock muffler off to hear the 4-1 straight piped and as assumed the bike would sputter and lose power when I hit WOT. I put the muffler back on so I could ride it and now it still sputters and losses power when I accelerate hard?

Seems to me I have a minion I'm my garage that's messing with me stuff while I'm not looking...why else would taking them apart and putting them back together cause issues?? I know I put it back together right.. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
