Topic: CB 450/550 parts compatibility?

Looking through my local kijiji ads and found a few items that I was wondering if they could work on my 78 CB 550k project?

The ad has 2x 1969 CB 450 gas tanks (did they make a 450 in 69? Or did he mean 350??) regardless  will those tanks work on my 1978 frame?

Also found a 1974 CB 550 motor at a swap meet... Are the motor parts from a 74 and my 78 interchangeable,  or can I completely swap out the motor and put the 74 into my 78 frame??

 $25 for 2 tanks, I'd buy it just all for that, if they were in decent shape, just because.The one in front looks like the shape of my 72 tank 450 tank.
I think I may have layed a 450 tank on a 550 once just to see, but I don't think that it fit well or it may still be on it.
Yes your 550 engines will swap.
