Yes. In fact the new house has a full workshop in the basement which is at garage level.

I have that on our CB350F as well.  Flashers come on, but don't blink and I'm wondering if that ground wire is supposed to go somewhere.  Looks like it from the Wiring Diagram, but I'm not seeing a spot for it.

I ended buying a new flasher and didn't have to ground it and it worked fine.
