Brake parts source ??
« on: June 03, 2015, 03:08:17 PM »
Hello Guys, I'd like your opinions on who I should order brake parts from. My front caliper is frozen so I pulled it apart and I intend to replace the O-ring. I might as well change the pads while it's apart also. Hope this does the trick, not really into rebuilding the master cylinder. I saw D.S.S. has an aftermarket master cylinder for about 48 bucks. Do you guys know if this is ready to just bolt on? The master cylinder rebuild kit is like 36 dollars, seems like it would be worth buying the master cylinder if it's complete and ready to go. Any input you guys have would really be appreciated !! Thanks, John aka BigBrownDog

I no longer rebuild master cylinders, buy the repop from DSS [unless you have a Sandcast]. It is plug and play.
Buy the seal and pads from them too.
