I wouldn't be able to make that meeting as I will still be at work Art.  Where would you be going next?  I should be done with work by 4:30.  Would you be heading back to Detroit by then?

MJ
Art what time do you think you will be in Toledo where we went last year???

I hope to be at the resort probably around 1pm on Thursday. Will call you in the morning to confirm the meeting if you guys a riding there. Attached is a link to the resort with directions where we were last year.

I can meet you guys there, but what is everyones' plans after that?  Looks like I am the guy to move "Zilla onward to Wisconsin?  Anyone else want to ride.  I would like to take the ferry across lake Michigan to Milwaukee, but that may not be good for everyone as it is expensive...but may be able to get a deal for one or two other guys from a good friend that works for the ferry service....or....is anybody wanting to do that long beautiful U.P. ride?  Thoughts?  Ideas?  We have got til the 20th to get 'Zilla to Old Scrambler.

Mj Ken and I are planning on staying in Burton Ohio Wednesday night after meeting with Tripps. We will leave out on Thursday morning returning to Sandusky. From there I will only be about hour and half from the resort. Sean are you still planning on coming to the resort, if not I will continue on to Detroit. I can delay my departure from Sandusky to meet you there. Let me know via the forum for I will be taking my ipad to stay in touch. Plan on leaving the D at 6am Wednesday.

Michigan Riders................at this point there is a possibility that I may ride my K3 to LaPorte, Indiana to take in a TRACTOR show on Saturday, August 16th.  I'll post more info later.  Would that be convenient for a hand-off?  Any Wisconsin and Illinois riders want to join me for the ride................maybe Friday PM and return Saturday PM or Sunday AM?

BTW...........the tractor show is a GATHERING OF THE ORANGE festival (Allis Chalmers) and my brother will be there showing our family tractor, a 1925 model ................its green.............they changed to orange in 1930.

Ahh I have my draft on the 16th. I may be able to do a Friday ride, Depends on what Sean is doing and if you decide to ride to Indiana. Looks like I may be passing through your area tomorrow Dennis to enjoy a ride around Lake Winnebago.

that is convenient, although it kinda makes it unecessary for me to go to Milwaukee (which I always enjoy and have not in much too long a time) and I wouldn't get to ride the Kettle Moraine...I dont know.  We will have to see what others want to do.

Sean................and others...............By all means..............your welcome to a ride in the Kettle Moraine ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'll go slow ;)

You could take the ferry from Ludington :) :)

Just let me know your plans....................and, yes, Scotty...............we plan to run the motor on Saturday and have it ready to ride sometime next week.  If the Michigan riders get this far..............they will have a first-hand look at the CBR ;)

Sean,

When you take PZ to Dennis, will you be launching from the Zoo?  If so, I hoping to ride escort, be it to Muskegon or LaPort.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.
