I finally gassed up the 836 and went for a good ride. It got set aside while a sandcast and a dragbike came here. The yoshi style pipe with the long muffler is quiet but holy cow when this thing gets on the cam it's a screamer. I was cranked in second at 6K and I could feel the old foam grips start to pull away from the handlebars. Not a pleasant feeling.
I'm putting the daytona looking seat from the drag bike on it for now. Hmm, it might be a good time for a ride.
Anyway the point of digging this post up is to say thanks again for all the help. I'll post a pic soon.
