9" trail is obviously a typo....
it's true that steering geometry of old UJM's can be steppened up to more modern figures, that's what i do with my racers. but for street riding i keep my kz750 in stock settings. depends what what you want to achieve really. 90% of the change can be achieved with just longer shocks or offset mounting plates that give you flexibility and allow you to go back to stock if you dont like it
