Thought I would go in to the arc I have had some luck at. I see sansui qr-6500 amp old and heavy and 69.00 A little too much for my blood. I then see the guy has something on his bench he just got in and didn't even plug it in yet to test. I ask how they price and gets online says half of going rate. Now I see a good deal going just ok. I say I'll give you a 100 now for it he chuckles. He looks on his phone and says I'll be back. He comes back from talking to the manager and say 99.99. We can't find anything on it. I laugh and say where do I pay.
So my latest score is a Aragon 4004 power amp for 99.99.

Damn, if that's what you paid for a 4004 that's a pretty damn good deal.
If I didn't have my Brystons for brute SS duty I was thinking about getting the 4004 or the 8008.

Here is the proof.
Holy #@$# what a amp.
I opened it up and has a blown fuse on one channel. I bet they just thought be too expensive and gave it to ARC.
Lets just hope it gave out on its on and there's no issue's.

Let's hope that's all it is and not some blown output transistors or DC offset.
If you have a decent multimeter you might want to look up the process for checking DC offset on your amp before you go loud.

powers up and ran a set of headphones through the pre amp sounds good both channels putting out. I work right next to a guitar shop and they do repairs. I'm loading it into the car now and bringing it to them after lunch.
