CycleX frame mod twin carbs
« on: August 04, 2014, 03:53:13 PM »
Hello fellow riders and builders.

I got a great deal on a set of cycleX dual carb set up. I'm going to modify my frame, and was hoping some of you might share any pics of frame mods that you or have seen done.

Please share any pics or advice. I know some dislike such a topic. And that's cool.

Here's my bike so far.

Thanx. It's name s Monroe. Long story.

I'm descent at tuning, so the twin carbs should be easy. The carbs that are on there need more than a cleaning and rebuild. There is a crack on the #3 throat. And the cost to go through all that is... $ and time.

I picked up brand new cycle x carbs with the whole kit for $300 out the door.
They Originaly cost $500+

I don't plan on chopping it up to much. Thinking about takng the two rails behind the carbs out and running a single tube.

Could you just swap manifolds left to right, or flip them with the carbs angled inwards instead of outwards?

Also air filters with angle rubber boots?

I don't think swapping them around would work well.
And Stoli... That's a great thread. I was thinking I might go that route. That is exactly what I wanted to see. Thanx man.
