I can try to help but being there in person would be much easier.
If you have spark at the points then that means your coil more than likely has good primary windings, now the secondary windings is the winding that gives the high voltage to the plug lead and plug cap.
Remove the plug cap and see if the plug lead (bared back a bit) can make a spark to the head when you are sparking the points with a screwdriver . The point gap needs to be open for this test and short the points with the screwdriver then remove the screwdriver to create the spark.
If you have no spark at the plug lead then you have a burnt out secondary winding in your coil, which means the coil is to be replaced.
I am assuming that the plug is ok and the plug cap is screwed deep onto the plug lead.
