http://www.cb750cafe.com/products-page/brake-system-parts/braided-hose-brake-kit-2-piece/

I ordered up a set of these to go with one of his clubman bars. Originally I intended to run Norman Hyde M Bars but figured Id at least try the clubmans for that "classic" look.

Anyway, the brake lines and bars arrived. I even ordered an extra banjo bolt. New 14mm Nissin M/C was bolted onto clubmans. I installed the longer of the two brake lines onto master cylinder with adapter, run them behind headlight and down left fork leg. How do I connect the two "eyelets" with a banjo bolt? Pictures on Carpy's site show the female ends going to caliper and M/C...

Its probably an easy solution Im overlooking...

Next up, the new Nissin M/C... http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-caferacer-cafe-racer-bobber-brat-chopper-custom-motorcycle-brake-parts-black-aluminum-nissin-retro-hydraulic-front-brake-master-cylinder-717-654e.html

"Uses standard two point mount system found on most bikes".... Again, my newbiness is shining and I cant figure out how to hook this thing up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I guess you are missing the linkage on the Tripple ?  ( under / behind the headlight )

There should be a piece where the 2 eyes get mounted in with banjo's, and where the pressure switch to activate your brake light is in.

Is that a standard part that originally came on the bike? My bike is a '78 K8... it had a brake line go from the Master Cylinder directly to the caliper with no linkage in the triple.

I'm not sure for a K8 ( it was never in the Netherlands ) but my Nephews K7 has one still.....  Do you have a sensor or switch for the brake light somewhere else ?

EDIT:  yes you have.  1 line on the USA K8, and item 1 is a switch in the master.

The set you bought is using the linkage, in other words, you got the wrong set.....
You just need 1 line

Thanks for your help! Live and learn.  I'll call Carpy later on and order the right part.  I should have looked into it a bit more before getting antsy with the credit card...
