If urs broke easy, tjeres a good chancebit is junk. U might find a petcock with a bigger single outlet and put a reducing y on it, so u can still run 1/4" fuel line and not have to worry about supply.

1/4" is not the correct size fuel line...no offence intended but I question the advice you are giving on this thread.

Yeah, this is getting silly.

I purchased the NOS one from this guy and have had ZERO issues with it since.

Some of us would rather ride our bike than set around for months working on them. I have had my bike for about 5 years and all i have had to do to it is change tire, change oil and clean carbs. Although i got some bad fuel here lately and now have to clean the carbs again.

OEM fuel line size is 5.5mm or 0.217 inches. 1/4 (0.25) inch hose is just large enough that leaks can occur. If you can't find 5.5mm hose, you can go with 3/16 but you'll need to heat the end up to soften it enough to get over the barb.

Ditto. I've "lucked out" and had three tanks that needed this petcock. Just spend the $100 and be done with it.

Buy the good one or find used. I was lucky enough to find one that somebody had for $55.00 - that was a few years ago now.

Mine was leaky cuz the plastic "cone" had been roughed up. The sock filter and washers can be had from DSS.
