Basic Wiring to Start

Picked up old chopper, has the coils and the points wire,,so Positive to the black wires ?  and the what else. Motor kicks over good so would like to see if its worth wiring up or swaping out.

Twelve volts to the coils. Kick away. Assuming points are good and plugged up.

The points wire is there but not plugged into anything , just  blue and yellow wire hanging there
