I cut the chrome part off even with the bracket but only the top layer.

I removed the structure by drilling the welds and cut off the bottom. Then I welded the chrome edges right at the end of the bracket so the welds would be under the seat. I also welded and bolted it under the taillight.

This is mine. I think it's bobbed about 5-6" now. I cut it under the seat so I could easily keep the rolled edge. I had to make a spacer to bolt it to the factory fender mount.



I love this fender but I don't know if it's a factory fender or something custom.

I just measured the fender earlier today for someone else... Can't remember how much I took off but it's 12.5 inches total length.
