Topic: Hi from Lebanon, Pennsylvania! (Close to Hershey)

Hi Everyone,

I'm here to introduce myself! I am Collin from Hershey, PA.  I am normally a Triumph guy, but since my 05 Bonnie is being rebuilt from me laying it down, I figured I needed.  So the decision was made and I picked up a 1974 Honda CB550, which I found through my barber! 

Bit about Me: 28 y.o, IT professional, likes all types of motorcycles (mostly retros.)

Bit about my Honda: 1974 Honda CB550, named it Bree, Just under 10K miles.  See Pics:

Hopefully I can get it running this weekend!  You can see in the background of my bike another CB550 (78), my buddy also pick up his a couple of weeks ago. 

If anyone has any advice, tips or want to meet up at my garage, let me know!

Welcome and nice bike. Don't know your plans, but hang onto that airbox. If you plan to not re-use it, let me know as I need one for a new build in the works.

I keep hearing about keeping the airbox.  I'm going to search the forum, but why are some people oppose to pods?

Hopefully I meet some.  I have a pretty big garage with tons of tools, air compressors, etc.  it would be cool to co-op with some people.  I know a lot of riders from the Triumph people I hang out with, looking for some CB folks!
