Where to buy oil seal?
« on: July 15, 2014, 08:00:28 pm »
I am needing the seal that the the torque converter slides into on the transmission case. Its a 53x75x8, part number
91204-393-013. I can find the seal listed in various online stores and eBay. But they ALL say "out of stock", "obsolete", or "do not order, do not have". This included bike bandit, eBay, vintagecb750, and many others. I have found one in england for 47 euros, that's like 50 bucks or more, is this my only hope?  Thanks guys.

That's the one that I found as well. With shipping it will be well over $50. I have no problem with that if it turns out to be my only hope. Just thought I'd check with you guys before biting the bullet. Thanks again. I guess they are in the Netherlands, not england.

Got it from Ron Ayers. Thanks a bunch. Really saved me some cash. I guess I've found a few of the handamatic quirks. Like finding parts, some of them haven't been made for decades...I.e. Intake boots.
I'm fixing up my 76 cb750a. Bought it barely runnning but the n good shape for its age. I now have it where it starts right away and runs good. Addressing leaks now.

Ron Ayers refunded my money. They said they haven't had that part in awhile. Going with the CMS seal in the Netherlands. No choice really. But I got to have the seal. Thanks for your help guys.

Old post, but I need this seal. All of the listings from four years ago, including CSML, are now out of stock. What is one to do when a metal/rubber seal can't be found anywhere?
