Hello from a newbie
« on: July 16, 2014, 02:43:54 PM »
Just a quick hello to everyone. I have owned a 73 500 four k2 for several years and at the stage where I am attempting to get her road worthy. Every thing is stock and in fair condition. The old girl runs but I am looking for a few parts to get her complete. The main issue is finding an original exhaust system(4into4) which I have pretty much given up on due to the price they are getting even if you are lucky enough to find a set. Due to the fact that I don't think I will find one at a reasonable price, I have decided to just get her up and running and use her for a work bike. Having said that I still need a couple of parts. One being a seat lock as there is a little internal part on the one I have that is broken. The second is the fuel cap latch. Glad to be on this board and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Here is a pic of her. Not sure if this is the right place to post this. I was going to bid on those pipes on e-bay but the price was a bit much. >:(
