Thanks Guys had a blast yesterday went to a real Danish pastry shop in the morning had a gastric orgasm (for you that have never had the real thing you poor sad bastards) then wound up going to the Hamilton Warplane Museum and checked out some old A/C had 3 year old grandson with us was interesting my high light was talking to the mechanics that had the Lanc to pieces in preparation for her trip to England on the 4th (jesus have they a lot of work to make it for the 4th of Aug)
and got to dip my hands in used 100 weight skin softener and next day they're still soft nothing like Lanc engine oil, should have few hours on it though. After every one had a nap at home (3 year olds at a flying station are a handful) Went a Thai restaurant and tucked into some Red Snapper with Mango, wonderful.

Aw #$%* a great day love the sounds, smells and sights of a hangar, happiest days of my life walking a flight line or working in a hangar all I had to worry about was did I have enough for nickle beer night and could I find a painted hussy to get laid, so the Russians were going to nuke us, so the Yanks were going to invade and protect us from the Russkys, so the Queen was going to inspect us as an honour guard next week Who gives a #$%* I've got $2.25 and my boots are shined, guard uniform is cleaned and pressed and I just had a hair cut best of all know one knows I've got the 2.25. As far as the A/C goes nothing major in snags. Life was good, ah the simple life and that's what it was like in the late 50's early 60's as a Canadian airman maybe other stations were different but Comox was remote.

Thanks to all, for some stupid reason I feel refreshed so I suppose the new demon will be more mature, less likely to take offense, more measured in responses, less likely to use foul language, not as subject to the blues, all a round a nicer person, not as grumpy, less impatient with idiocy, more in tune with political correctness and girls if you believe that horse #$%* you really are stunned, merde even I don't believe that. Any how thanks for your best wishes and I suppose the next is 80.
