CB750k7 fuel line question
« on: July 24, 2014, 05:51:16 AM »
Hey Guys,

So I just switched the tank on my 77 CB750 to an older 74 CB750 tank I have been fixing up and painting. I rebuilt the petcock and everything, but the 74 petcock has two outlets instead of 1. I currently have the two fuel outlets joining at a brass tee then connecting the the fuel inlet on the carb, but I was wondering if it would be better to plug one of the fuel outlets then just run a single line to the carb. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I've done that on one of my bikes.  Check fuel flow out of the petcock, seems like one is always at a higher rate, use that one.   They sell hose "caps" at the auto parts store, get 3/16".

Once one stop flowing, the other one flows
