CB750 NON-progressive fork springs
« on: July 15, 2015, 12:17:53 PM »
I need some help!
I have cartridge emulators for the stock tubs, but I am having trouble finding springs that are not progressive springs.
My understanding is that you are not supposed to use progressive springs with these.
I'm having a hard time finding a supplier that either has the stock size or shows the specs of what they have for sale.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Ditto. They're called "single rate" springs and should be calibrated for your weight (plus passenger if desired).

Thanks guys.
I saw racetech, but wasn't sure if they were the only option.

One more follow-up question.

Racetech is suggesting 23.5x410mm springs.
I see in the manual that minimum acceptable length is about 19", but I can't find the original stock length.
Is 23.5 the right length?

It will be correct for a single rate spring based upon the weight you gave them, and the bike model.

With Racetech springs you will get material to cut your own preload spacers. Check their website for the proper way to set sag using the right length spacers for your weight. Pretty easy to do and makes a difference.
