1981 Cb650C 4-1, V and H exhaust Jetting
« on: July 26, 2014, 06:12:37 AM »
Hi All,

I've been having some issues with my bike making a bit of a rev-limiter sound and not wanting to rev beyond about 6000ish rpm in higher gears (3rd, 4th, and 5th).  It kinda stutters and surges slightly.  Revs out fine in first, and decently in second.  After trying a number of things, I'm starting to think its a fueling issue.  My question is what size jets should I be running on the bike?  I'm close to sea level, have a 4-1 of unknown make, and a vance and hines.  I've done the fender washer trick for the air filter.  Couldn't read the size of the current jets when I was in there last.  Recommendations?

Thanks!
