Kawasaki ZRX1100
« on: July 21, 2014, 04:29:38 AM »
Recently sold one of my SOHC4's and picked up this. It's a 2000 ZRX 1100, two owners, service records and receipts, K&N pods, jetted and Dale Walker Holeshot exhaust. About 25 lbs. lighter than stock and worth about 115 HP at the rear wheel. Came with the stock seat and a brand new Sargent seat, too.

I've been wanting something a little more "modern" and this fits the bill and still, to me, looks somewhat vintage. Or, at least like a motorcycle and not origami or a Transformer!

At one time I wanted one of those.   I probally still do.  It looks like a proper motorcycle.  Some of newer styles of bikes don't do anything for me.  That ZRX reminds me of the ELR replica of times past.  ELR = Eddie Lawson Replica.
Nice bike and comfortable ride, too.

I had the '95 CB1000 (similar in style to the ZRX) that I kick myself everyday for selling. I loved that thing. They are extremely hard to find, but I keep looking. I have also been eyeing up the ZRX1100/1200's as they are more plentiful and probably better bikes than the CB1000 was.

Enjoy the new (old) ride!

Your killing me Smalls!!!

I've wanted a 2000 ZRX1100 in that paint scheme since I saw one in 2000.  I always get side tracked but I will own one one day...

Congrats on the new ride! I'm sure you're going to love it
