'78 cb750f wheels
« on: November 21, 2014, 09:43:05 AM »
Is there a spoke wheel I could use with the stock supersport forks?
I want to ditch the comstars but keep the front forks.
Thanks.

I have a '71 F1 frame and when I bought mine it had original Honda spoke wheels on it. I ran one disc, although the forks and wheels have mounting points on both sides. The rear also had an original disc and fitted the F1 swing arm. Mine are sold already, but I don't think they're super rare.

You can if you get wheels like this, these came in my stock '77 F1, but fits the '78 from what I've read. Quickest way to swap imo.
If you need new hubs, Cognito Moto sells them and you can lace them to a bunch of rims.
The comstars don't have the hole for the spokes yet, so you got to figure out a pattern and drill it, and then lace them to a new rim.

Several options I know of, can't really say what the quickest and shortest way is. Depends on what you have, how much you can do yourself and availability of parts.
