Sealant on CR carb spigots??

Just bought some Keihin CR31 carbs.  What should I use on the threads on the spigots?  I would have thought it would say in the instruction book but it doesn't.

I used some blue thread sealant on my 29's mate, just to stop any air from being sucked in. It probably wasn't necessary with the "O" rings, but I didn't want to pull them off again. Have you got it running with the 31's? I've got a set here but haven't installed them yet. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Yes just got it going today.  Its on a F2 headed 970, still playing with the jetting, vast improvement over the stock carbs.  So far I am happy :)

Has anyone else used the cr31 on a 970 motor or similar size?  If so I am interested in what you ended up with for main jet size , etc.
