Hi from Tampa
« on: July 29, 2014, 01:23:40 PM »
Hi,

A recent move to within 1/2 mile of my job forced me to sell my old Moto Guzzi as the short around town hops was too much for her.  In the same time my wife convinced her dad that he shouldn't be riding his 77 400F and that I could keep it running and in the family.

No pics yet and I brought to a local shop to fix a leak in the oil pickup tube (O-Ring) that has been leaking for years.  The bike is pretty clean for its age but a few weird things.  He didn't like the stock tank which was in tough shape and replaced it with a '75/'76 model and painted it with the side colors in Varnish Blue.

Trying to decide what to do but my quick list of cosmetics:

1. New down pipes and exhaust
2. Seat Cover - Current has a few splits
3. Paint of few engine covers
4. Handlebars.  '77 were too high.

Bike has 14K miles.  Pic's of my 400 and my recently departed Guzzi.  Was a 2000 with 8K on the clock.

Regards,
Bob
