« on: July 30, 2014, 03:20:22 AM »
Hi there guys,
I'm Francesco from Naples - Italy - with my new (old) 550f2.

Your help will be fundamental make my bike to run perfectly, because in Italy this model was almost not sold and so there isn't lot of people that know its specs well.

I apologise for my english, I'll try to be as clearer as possible, I ask you to make an additional effort to understand me.

Thanks!

Your English is just fine, especially written. Welcome and look forward to seeing your bike in photos!

I wonder how your friends and neighbors will treat you riding a Japanese bike in the land of some of the best made motorcycles? You're a brave man -

Welcome to the forum mate. You're a lot easier to understand than a lot of people on here who spoke English as their first language. ;D

Cal, they'll only be jealous that the jap bike doesn't break down like all the Italian bikes. ;D

I have a good friend who grew up in your city.  He said Vespas were the vehicle of choice when he was a kid, running all over the city  ;D

Thank you guys,
there are loads of honda four enthusiast in Italy. And obviously of Vespa too! I belong to both categories!
As 70CB750 said in my city there are more Vespas than people, and as flatlender said, I rode along the cost (Sorrento, Amalfi, ...), both by Vespa and by 550 super sport. I also had my summer travel by Vespa, in Greece and in Sicily. Once the 550 will be at the top I will try a more comfortable way of travel!
