Some one stole mine when i was as a bike gathering. I have since refused to buy an expensive side cover. I bought a cracked one and fibreglassed it up on the inside. Then finished it with a cool looking texture metallic deal that matches my bike. The right one seems to be the one everyone needs.

Things will get more expensive with how many bikes you have

Buy one from Frankenfrankenstuff (member here). They're quality repros and less expensive. He's got a listing in the FS section.

X2..........And, the right side is the 0ne that provides access to the battery and electrics.
It gets removed/damaged the most.

Yeah Frankenfrankenstuff's covers are the best, last pair you'll ever need to buy till someone steals your oil tank cover. Then Frankie will sell you just a right side one, don't ask me how I know this. I still get pissed off thinking about it, I really hope I find the dickless idiot that has it on their bike...

+100 on Frankenstuff.  Getting from Ebay at those prices is not a good option.

Ok, one more time in case you didn't hear us, Frankenbike! I have his covers and they are tougher than the original and cheaper than a old brittle cover off of FleeceBay!

buying OEM side covers is not a smart move. Buying something that is bound to break/crack is bad. Franken's covers are....gulp....better than OEM.

  • To many bikes-but lookin' for more
If the stock cover your looking at is in excellent condition, has good badges and matches your stock paint correctly/perfectly than $112.00 is a good deal. Price of stock color paint is not cheap. If you still have to fark around and paint etc., especially if its not a stock color, then get a better quality repop from Frankie.
