Hi there, advice on possible new bike sought!
« on: August 02, 2014, 02:19:04 PM »

Saw this 1978 Honda CB750 bike posted for sale locally, was wondering if any of you masters of knowledge could tell me if the asking price is reaosnable or if there is anything glaringly wrong with it (besides the fact that he listed it as a 750K Supersport- I thought the SS were F models).  Are the OEM seats and headlights hard to come by?  That fairing has got to go.

Thanks!

From the limited pictures is looks to be in very nice shape and reasonably priced.

I'd say fairly price, and yes, the F model was also called the Supersport.

It sold, you buy?

Nope, I called the guy about 15 minutes after his ad posted to go look at it. He said he had another guy on the way, and he needed up selling it to him for $1350.

Just saw this bike listed on ebay, exact same wording as the original ad.  Looks like the seller got taken by a bike flipper.  Too bad, I would have loved to pick that bike up for $1350!  What do you all think it will end up selling for on ebay?

Bummer, the guy said he had seller's remorse letting it go for $1350.  If only I'd been ten minutes faster!   :'(

Send him the link to the eBay listing, he'll really be sorry for not selling to you.
